I meant Cheney wanted Libby pardoned, and actually got into it with Bush about it, and equated it to a leaving a fellow warrior wounded on the field of battle.
So why didn't Bush punish Armitage? You act like a commuted sentence is doing hard time, professor. A commuted sentence is "pardon light". It amounts to the same thing . . . Libby never went to jail. He was "taken care of".
He's still a convicted felon. With a pardon, it never happened. Scooter didn't go to jail but he lost everything.
i still dont even understand what is wrong with the leak. maybe she wasnt a useful agent and it didnt matter. she was angry, but so what, lots of employees dont like what their bosses do.
