Anyone going to read this? I think it may be interesting. I actually like GW, I think he is a pretty cool cat away from politics. Terrible president, but I think most of it was due to the way he let Rove, Cheney, Wolfy, and Rummy control him.

He has to rank pretty high as Presidents you would want to party with though.

I find president's much more likable once they are out of office. I won't read the book but there's an interview tonight I may catch.

I saw a snippet this morning on the Today show, and they talked about him freeing Scooter Libby and how pissed off Cheney was for Dub not pardoning him, and equated it to leaving a man on the battlefield. Man I would actually have liked to have seen what Dub would could have done with a different group of advisors, especially Cheney.

like bush, who is an outlier among politicans in that he is shockingly honest, cheney is shockingly indifferent about what people think of him. and this makes him an amazing fellow. i like him and would vote for him for president.

i do respect that aspect of dick cheney, however i disagree with everything he does, says, and feels, so there is no way in hell i would ever vote for him unless he was running for executioner.
