LSU's Peterson presents a huge problem for WVU

Apparently it is true, but the details are foggy, i think i would remember throwing all over a rivals 100 player.

Peterson has better team mates this time around also. I don't think I have ever wanted to witness an out of conference team get bloodied up more than I do the hillbillies.

Who cares if it's true? How is it even relevant?

If Geno thinks he can still throw 6 TDs on Peterson, I hope he tries...often...

Man, the Mountaineers on this board should really take some words of wisdom from their head coach:

They are the worst of course, Maitheu only has 15 or more tackles, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and a couple of pass break ups in 3 games as a true freshman.

Claiborne only has 12 plus tackles with two pretty damn good ints on the season.

    Just awful...

Oh you know who else is awful, that Loston fella, he cant hit, he cant tackle along with Hatcher, Eugene and Taylor. Those guys are just pitiful.

Shhhhhh- quit tellin them about all those weapons. Let them keep thinking that only PP could be their problem, and that since their QB, Gino, lit him up in HS, so he really isn't much of a threat.:hihi:

You know even Brady, Manning Breeze & Favre don't look good when being pressured by pass rush. Interesting how the eers admit their ol is weak yet expect their all world qb to slash and burn our d. If he has no time then his lasars will find PP, TM et al. Manybe DN will get his second int. Same with rb Noel Devine, he won't run wild with no place to go.
Another thing everyone talks about speed comparing skill players. That is not where the real difference is. It is on the line. LSU has KeKe Mingo at DE who runs a 4.5 40 and many more like him. Not only that the difference in speed is from 20-40 yards. In the first 10 the diff means nothing as a back can't outrun a DL's arms. We have at least 8 d linemen who are as fast as many TEs or even rbs (not Devine).
WVU will find it not as easy to seperate from LSU d. Will Devine break a long run? I think so but he won't make a difference unless the WVU ol makes a transformation. Same with the QB. I see WVU with three scores max 17 points. Probably 13 or less.

If you have the game video, watch Mathieu on Claiborne's interception return.

Claiborne cuts across the field with two State tacklers ahead of him and Ty Mathieu trailing. Mathieu runs ahead of Claiborne (who is hauling ass) pancake blocks the first man down on his ass, retains his balance and gets in a block on the other man, too!
