Geno Smith owned Peterson in High School...Any truth?

Apparently, Geno Smith faced off vs. PP in high school with Geno's team taking a 6 td dump over PP's team in the air..


Anyone know of this?

I have no idea how accurate this is. Someone else posted it:

In his Jr. season Geno threw 6 TD passes against Ely (Peterson's school) and won the game 51-12. At the time Peterson was a senior and the #1 ranked high school cornerback in the country. So yeah, Geno schooled Peterson. The 6TD passes in a game actually ranks 7th all time for Broward County!

 

Uh, there are two CB's, think maybe they threw away from him?

 

Think maybe if he was as great as you guys make him he couldve tackled someone or made a play?

Even if its true, PP has shut down the likes of AJ green and Jones. I have no fear in PP.

Exactly. The Mountaineers are clinging to hope that our stud CB was "schooled" in high school and that it will somehow correlate with Saturday night's game.

It's almost as if they expected PP to not only cover both sides of the field every play but ALSO to play safety and LB in high school.

One huge difference between high school and now:

Peterson has had 2 seasons of SEC play...Geno has had one...in the Big East :rolleye33:.
