Miles looks lost and almost detached on the sidelines. I mentioned this earlier in the year in a thread I started. Last year, he seemed into the game. This year. I question if he realized it was 63 yards. He's just not INTO it. I really hope he bounces it ALL back. I'm rooting for him to.
colt david regularly hits 60+ yarders in warmups. probably just a good a chance at hitting that as hitting a hail mary if not better.
No way. Let me see him hit 60+ yarders in game situations into the howling wind, and I might believe that. If that kind of kick had a better chance, we'd see more of them attempted, but we don't. That's why they named a play the "Hail Mary."
We hear and see far more highlights of hail mary's hitting more frequently than 60+ FGs into howling winds. It was a give up play.
Way Way too nice of a guy. Coudn't hurt someone's feelings by selecting the best coach for the DC and telling the other guy he didn't get it. He is no more lost than the rest of the staff and players.
Miles biggest problem is that he didn't grab a couple of boneheaded defensive players by the facemask and literally chew their azzes into the ground until they had to call security to get him off of em. Two dumdass players let the entire team down.
He never does. Thank God I was not on the sideline coaching that team or God forbid Nick Sabin. It's not ok to cost your team with bonehead mistakes like those today.
