Maddow is trying to blame this loss on everything EXCEPT what Scott Brown campaigned on. Hilarious!.

What about the crowd at the bar she is broadcasting from? Looks like gay day in San Fran. I have never seen more women, and I use that term loosely, in one spot with facial hair, chain wallets and crew cuts.

Olberman was spewing at Brown last night, Maddow looked like she was gonna go on a rampage through the streets. I flipped back and forth between MSNBC and FoxNews because CNN didsn't seem to be covering it well. I have changed my opinion that MSNBC is as far left as fox news is right. They are much further left than Fox is right. It was unbelievable. Fox anchors were at least keeping their joy contained where the MSNBC anchors couldn't help themselves.

I will give props to Chris Matthews as he was the only one to keep it at least somewhat civil while the others were melting down.

We've already had approximately 75 comments on several threads regarding last night's election result and impact yet we're still awaiting a reponse from Tiger Forums' DNC Chairman.

    I'm really looking forward to a post-election spin...uh, I mean analysis. :hihi:

Although I am happy about last night and this morning I am not giddy.
I know nothing about Scott Brown other than he is Republican and will vote against Obamacare.
He may be more left of center than right being from Mass.

If nothing else polticians are just that.
I have zero faith in Democrats and maybe 5% when it comes to Republicans.
They have to prove to me for many years that they aren't going to try and be liberals.

This is only the beginning of the story not the end.
We need to vote people out of office come November and at the same time we need a more even number of both parties in Congress.

I am still worried that Obama, Pelosi and Reid will try and get things passed no matter
what but I'm hoping that politicians other than these leaders will return to their senses to stop this from happening.

Nobody should be giddy. This isnt some mandate for republicans and shouldnt be misconstrued as people being in favor of the typical republican agenda. Brown ran under the republican party but made it clear he is more of an independent. Hard core right wingers like Limbaugh and Hannity need to temper their enthusiasm. If the repubs start operating old school, they will get smacked in November. Brown conducted the perfect campaign for defeating a democrat and it had little to do with long time republican agendas. To think otherwise would be foolish.

Im hopeful Browns improbable victory will be a lesson to the republicans but Im not holding my breath. Im also hoping this will be a lesson to Obama but again, Im not holding my breath.

I wouldnt be worried about Pelosi and Reid trying to slam through this horrific health plan. Not gonna happen. When you have people like Barney Frank saying "woah, put on the brakes" there will be no "end around" from the Dems. It would be political suicide and they are already in enough trouble.

There has never been a better time for Scott Brown types to take advantage of the hole in the political center. Its obvious the majority of Americans dont want extremism on either side of the isle. We've been fed enough of it and maybe this election outcome will have the desired effect of reigning in the extremes. Again, Im not holding my breath but one can always be hopeful.
