I love how he said it was good for the whole state of Louisiana!

Jimbo just coached himself out of contention for the LSU job

Let's see what he does through the season but if Herman turned us down I'd probably be real comfortable with him as the HC. Probably would pick him over Jimbo too.

I've got nothing but praise for Coach Eaux after last night but it was one game. The guys were playing on emotion. Let's see how we fare against the rest of the West schedule before we stop sending flowers to Houston.

    THIS.
It's only been one game. Coach Eaux did great last night but there are more challenging teams on the schedule. Although, I'm not sure if you have Tom Herman (right now) if he would have done any better or worse picking up the team "as is" during the season. It will be fun to see how this plays out but at this point, they can keep JF in Florida. I still think Tom Herman is the way to go if he will come but if that isn't possible... Eaux could be the guy.

Agree, but last night was better than I hoped. I think a lot of folks recognized Mizzou was overrated; one question we don't have the answer to is how overrated? UF should be a step up.

Glad to see Etling bounce back. Would have liked to see Harris a bit more, but doubt we would have seen him at all if Miles were coaching because I doubt we'd have won in the fashion we did.

True but compare it to Miles blowing a 21 point lead in his first game at TS. I think it was his first.
