Pete Carroll could have fucked choir boys, paid every player with drug money, and USC would still go out and try to bring that era back by hiring one of his assistants.
Hyperbole...okay. The hiring has very little if anything to do with the PC era. Sark grew up in the South Bay, he was a student at USC, he has a solid reputation within the recruiting community, when he left there was talk about his eventual return. But yea, PC is not a former priest nor is he Corch Myers.
Personally I like Sark, I listened to an interview with him and he was talking about how the hardest thing he has ever had to do was tell the players at Washington he was leaving. USC definitely got an upgrade.
