That was more of an open handed dignity stripping bitch slap to me........probably for all the Gators trying poke him in the eyes under the pile...... http://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/se...r-allegedly-pokes-leonard-fournette-eye-pile/
that's exactly right. saw that several times. they also kept trying to tackle him in the backfield way after the whistle was blown. they don't have a lot to complain about. but, neither do we. we won.
I was surprised and a bit disappointed that Fournette appeared to be getting frustrated and losing his composure. Also saw him complaining to a ref about Gator players continuing after the whistle. I understand his point but he was pretty animated over it.
Florida is famous for that shit. Remember Brandon Spikes? I said it early in the game thread Florida is going to try to do anything dirty they can to get Leonard to retaliate. As far as the shove, it was a hard shove, last time I checked you can shove players off of you when you have the ball.
Dude was going for his face mask, AGAIN, just like FU university was doing all night and getting away with. Go back and watch the game, you can see Fournette talking to the refs multiple times after a run play. At some point you have to stand up for yourself when they just allow it to continue.
I agree and that's why I said I understand, just that he seemed a bit animated about it. You can't let them see that they're getting to you, it only fosters more of the same. Let the coach handle it.
Happened all night. The only way they could bring LF down was grabbing the facemack or earhole before pulling other arm around his head. Fkn zebras don't understand that unless the defenders are warned with a few penalties the outcome will be serious injury to a world class athlete.
Hopefully Les points this out to future officiating crews....LF7 just has that "it" factor of a generational athlete, he's truly amazing and seems to be a good person too.
