So did he lie or is he now incompetent. Come on Red, you made a claim, back it up. Or are you a dirty liar now?

"We need earmark reform, and when I'm President, I will go line by line to make sure that we are not spending money unwisely."
"Over the last 15 months, we've traveled to every corner of the United States. I've now been in 57 states? I think one left to go. "

Cheney? He's a liar. Bush was incompetent.

No, i suspect it is that you are a damn fool. I made no claim. I asked you to offer evidence of Obama's lies and that we would talk about it. I'm still waiting.

Ok that is a simple statement. What makes it untrue? What earmark has Obama passed?

That is clearly misspeaking. Call it incompetence. That comment cost America nothing. Cheney's lies cost America 36,000 US casualties and a Trillion dollars.

You have no proof Cheney lied. It cannot be proved other than him actually stating that he lied. You also seem to forget the other country’s that agreed with the same intelligence OUR country used to make a case for war.. It's not like he started this all by himself now...

Your ass is showing Red... It is only your opinion that he lied, nothing to back it up. What you call evidence only supports a notion of bad intelligence. Nothing more...

Actually, most of our allies did not agree with us over Iraq. Fact. NATO backed us on Afghanistan, but not on Iraq. Don't start lying, now.

Your gullibility is showing. I already backed it up by stating that most of the intelligence contradicted the bad intelligence that they went with. The African yellowcake uranium turned out to be bogus. The UNSCOM inspectors (the real WMD experts) turned out to be right. Bush/Cheney ignored the intelligence that did not agree with their notions. They either lied or they were incompetent. No third choice.

    From your favorite source:

"Four countries participated with troops during the initial invasion phase, which lasted from 19 March to 9 April 2003. These were the United States (148,000), United Kingdom (45,000), Australia (2,000), and Poland (194). 36 other countries were involved in its aftermath. In preparation for the invasion, 100,000 U.S. troops were assembled in Kuwait by 18 February.[21] The United States supplied the majority of the invading forces, but also received support from Kurdish irregulars in Iraqi Kurdistan."

The UK is one of our biggest, but I guess Australia, Poland, and hte 36 other countries are liars too.....
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_invasion_of_Iraq

A key word in everything you post is "Turned" out. AKA BAD Intelligence......

"In the 2003 State of the Union address, President Bush said "we know that Iraq, in the late 1990s, had several mobile biological weapons labs".[58] On 5 February 2003, U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell addressed the United Nations General Assembly, continuing U.S. efforts to gain UN authorization for an invasion. His presentation to the UN Security Council, which contained a computer generated image of a mobile biological weapons laboratory. However, this information was based on claims of Rafid Ahmed Alwan al-Janabi codenamed "Curveball", an Iraqi emigrant living in Germany who later admitted that his claims had been false.

Powell also presented evidence alleging had ties to al-Qaeda. As a follow-up to Powell’s presentation, the United States, United Kingdom, Poland, Italy, Australia, Denmark, Japan, and Spain proposed a resolution authorizing the use of force in Iraq, but NATO members like Canada, France, and Germany, together with Russia, strongly urged continued diplomacy. Facing a losing vote as well as a likely veto from France and Russia, the US, UK, Spain, Poland, Denmark, Italy, Japan, and Australia eventually withdrew their resolution."

Again Red, there are always two sides to a story and it was simply two people lying on a stage....

Yes the 2 soldiers that Iceland sent and the 24 from Moldova were very impressive. But I repeat, our principal NATO allies did not join us. The UN did not join us. The Brits did so unilaterally, as usual, but even Canada did not follow us into Iraq.

That's OK, I said you could go with incompetent. :D

I did not question right or wrong, only that you cannot prove they lied...
