Gay Marriage Ban in North Carolinaaa

That's an easy one. Big Pharma, Alcohol and Tobacco, and Lawyers lobbying money for his campaign. If I'm a pharmaceutical company, why would I want people to have a legal pain killer that you can grow in your own home. If I am in alcohol and Tobacco, why would I want a competitor. If I am a defense lawyer, why would I want probably 40 percent of my clientele all of the sudden vanish.

It's becoming blatantly obvious that this dude is just like every other politician, it's all about money. Not to mention, think about all the billions of dollars that are given to fund the DEA every year, policing Marijuana.

I know people in government aren't that stupid to believe that Marijuana is a gateway drug, or that it's bad for you, or that it's harmful in any way, and people who do believe that are fucking idiots, and should be eradicated. So why hasn't weed been legalized or at least decriminalized? Money. Way too much money. The money that goes into these politicians pockets and campaigns is more important to them then the money states would make, or the federal government would make. They don't care about yours and my money, they care about their money. They will throw taxpayer dollars away to stupidity, or to grease wheels for their own benefit, or to garner votes, but when it comes to their own pockets or their campaign funds, its all about whatever makes the most money, not what's right.

i happen to trust cheney when he said he believed in the WMD. and maybe i am partisan as well but cheney is a surly prick that doesnt give a damn about public perception, whereas obama is purely political and insincere.
