You are right. For instance in the course on Gays in Military History you would see this kind of excerpt from the text book; “Major Rod Straight stands out in the annals of Gay Military history for being the master of the flanking move. He is most remembered for using this in the Battle of the Bulge when he used his own variation that he dubbed “Operation Reach Around”. Rod was loved by his men who were often heard to say “No matter what was happening you always knew Rod was going to be right behind you.”
No doubt a lot of men served under Major Rod. Rumor has it that while a cadet at West Point, he led a come from behind win against Morehead State.
you'd want to keep Southern California because that's a Republican stronghold. it's also home to probably the biggest base for the US Navy and the US Marines in the world. no doubt they have Air Force and Army based there as well.
Not nearly as many as you think. How does Cali hurt the rest of the country? If you hate it so much, refrain from living there. Again, not nearly as many as you think; probably just a few dumbasses that flunked 5th grade social studies. And it's completely irrelevant, anyway. The premise of what you're proposing is absurd, and I'm actually a little ashamed for even entertaining it.
Well unfortunately one of the men who is credited with teaching the Continential army just about everything they needed to know to defeat the british (Baron Von Steuben) was quite the flammer. Close pal of George Washington too however I doubt GW was gay. The old Prussian had a few "french lads" that followed him around as servants.
I'm guessing that this bill's intention is to demonstrate to kids that people of varying sexual orientations are historically significant, perhaps to influence acceptance at an early age. However, I don't think this measure would serve to do anything other than needlessly put the focus on something that is irrelevant to the topic. And I somehow doubt the ability of school-aged boys to be mature about it.
I was thinking this would be more like black history month and teaching about the accomplishments of gay folks in American history and in the battle for gay civil rights.
You were thinking wrong. It's about liberal politicians pandering for votes from every rock that can be lifted and looked under.
