I think the biggest difference in the Bama team LSU faced last season compared to what they see this season is the physicality of the offensive line. It was a season long problem for us, save the bowl game, last season. It seemed like no matter who we played our offensive line didn't play with a "mean streak". That is the obvious difference I see this season. We move bodies and move them with authority.
Your OL was amazing against the Gators - AMAZING I watched and could not believe the blocking that #3 was getting. I agree with you 100%
Given the makeup of these two teams, it will be won on the strength of controlling the line of scrimmage. Keeping mistakes to a minimum. And beyond anything I could possible project happening this season, home field advantage.:yelwink2:
#3,#33,#333 it doesn't matter. Honey badger don't give a chit. Lsu wins because of a defensive score by #7.
If the "Honey Badger" is making most of y'alls tackles on #3 or #42 then LSU's defense is having a bad day.
I don't think he's saying that. He's just saying that IF Jefferson somehow becomes the starter, we'll lose.
If Jefferson is the starter come 11/5 then something has gone BAD, BAD WRONG with LSU's season. To the tune of having dropped a game before our game. Don't see it happenin'. :dis:
Mathieu isn't the deep safety so that statement actually makes no sense. If he's making tackles, there's a decent likelihood that he just made a tackle for loss, knifing his way through the backfield. Kid is a very sound tackler for being so small. He has to be, otherwise he could be bowled over by a big guy like Richardson, but he's smart as a whip and will grab him by those thin ankles.
Not saying that at all. I'm saying that no matter who we play #7 will get his. In a close game, where every point is scarce, I'm betting on hb7 to be the difference.
