if tebow mattered enough it would be off the board. so theyre telling us UF is going to win regardless who plays.

    odd i know.

yep its down from 11' to 7 already.

lots of cache on LSU due to no tebow.

About where I expected the line to drop to.

I think it goes back to 11 if Tebow is announced to play.

Otherwise I think the spread ends up at 6.

Some people got lucky getting in on LSU and 11 points.

Everything I've seen and read including this thread title says the line opened at 9 1/2.

If Tebow plays I think it will be a game time decision and Vegas won't have time to react.

right, the most that would happen is vegas would circle the game which means they put a limit on how much you are allowed to bet. They circled the ou/miami game mid week. I don't see that happening here. The flood gates will be open if it gets to 6.

    The betting line is dropping

It started at +9 and I heard it is now down to +6 and it's only Tuesday. Looks like a lot of bread was pouring in on LSU +9. The Tebow situation? Who knows but probably.:milesmic:

I would like to offer a little advice. When betting football leave your fandom at home, do your homework and always make your picks "following the line" example .... if I were a betting man and I had to make my picks today I would take LSU and the points"

I have no affiliation but check the analysis on the LSU vs Florida game for everything you can possibly imagine relating to the spread.
My site is now at 7.5 so there is a ton of money moving on LSU for a line to move 2.0 points in two days mean everyone jumped on LSU at 9.5. Dont know what it means aside from Vegas thinks Florida will win easily and the majority of the gamblers in the world disagree.

    Very interesting.

Note it was never 11, it was 9 pretty much across the board if you look at the trends its pretty amazing as its swinging back and forth.
