In all likelihood, Florida will make up half of the NC game equation. What team matches up the best with the Gators?

Texas Tech vs what is arguably the best defense in the nation the way they are playing right now.

That would be fun to watch.

Hmmmm. Possibly not win your conference and wind up in the big dance.

As Yogi would say, "Deja vu all over again." :insane:

Watching Florida this year has got me thinking that these guys, so far, may be the best all around Florida team ever. They're not just blowing teams out, they're playing great defense. I know there were some great Florida teams in the 90s, but these guys are scary.

    God, I hate Florida.

Anybody watching the USC- Stanford game can see that Florida would be able to run, run and run some more on that defense. They would choose their spots for the pass play.

Florida by 2 TDs over USC.

USC's offense is not that great.

I know and just sayin, he asked for a dream match up and well, I am dreaming.

Perhaps next year they beat who they need to beat and we can get em in a match up. That would be a dandy.

What are you people smoking? USC???

Did y'all see what Oregon St. did to them? What did they do it with? A small, fast RB. Florida's got like 30 of them and they're a step faster. Oh, and a fast, gigantic QB that rarely throws INTS.

There have been times when I have thought USC's offense was almost unstoppable. But not this year... They have some talented players, but nothing consistent. I can't even name one of their receivers.

They do have a really fast D that looks great at times. But they've played so many terrible teams that it's hard to tell.

If they only posted 17 against Cal, I doubt they'd challenge Florida.

I think Texas or Texas Tech would be the best matchup. I really think Texas because they have super athletes on offense and a fast running QB who can throw it great. I haven't seen Texas Tech as much, but Crabtree is unbelievable and their QB is playing lights out. I'd give the edge to Texas against Florida because of the running QB.

But...Florida has to make it there first. Nothing is a given.
