LSU has won 6 straight vs top 10 teams. and they are getting 6 pts. i think i know which way I would lean. looks like a good play to me.
I thought the home field advantage was worth 3 points in general? with Fla being one of the tougher places to play they may have up'ed it to 4 /shrug
you going to the game? If not lets hook up somewhere around halfway and watch the game together? I plan on making a large wager on LSU plus 6.5 I'll gladly hook up with you, watch the game, and bet with you instead
it's typically 2.5-3 points. A night game in the sec may be worth 4. Even still, it's tough to lay a touchdown in an sec game. Think about the big sec games (fla-ut, lsu-au, uga-bama, uga-sc, ole miss-uf) Road team has won them all out right. LSU is coming off of a bye week and a virtual bye (msu) the week before. Lee's timing is getting better with the receivers and we get Beck back this week, not to mention everyone should be close to 100% INCLUDING RJF. Tebow isn't the same player he was last year. He's a less dynamic runner since the shoulder injury, and their best player is shaken up. Florida hasn't played well yet this season. They blew out Hawaii but if I remember correctly they didn't score many offensive touchdowns. Ole miss beat them at home, and the miami game was a lot closer than the score indicated. They haven't played anyone within their talent level yet while LSU won on the road at hostile auburn. Lee had his night road sec game cherry popped in that game and he won't be asked to do much other than post and out patterns to lafell, short check downs to dickson, and wr screens. Florida's not great up front on defense either. LSU will be able to control the ball and pick up first downs. The defense LOST players from last years team that couldn't stop LSU's rushing attack late. EVEN IF YOU THINK LSU WILL LOSE, IT'S NOT WISE TO LAY 6.5 AGAINST ANY TOP SEC TEAM. It's why georgia was a horrible bet, and why they weren't able to cover the touchdown spread vs south carolina. LSU is the side here
Oh I'm with you that LSU at the very least will cover the spread (I expect them to win of course). I expected Fla to be favored 2.5-3.5 of course almost makes me want to put money down lol
