Found this nugget while browsing enemy territory: http://www.gatorcountry.com/swampgas/showthread.php?t=76187 When trailing in the 2nd half.... Gators 0-8 under Meyer, since '06 season Gators 0-5 with Teabow Gators got no lesticles.
Wow, that's quite a stat. I figured it would be huge to get off to a great start, especially to take the crowd out of it. I didn't realize it would be that critical. The opposite stat is just as imposing, as I figure Meyer must be 33-1 (or something close to it) when leading at the half. I wonder if LSU's win last year was their only blemish on that stat? Although I guess Ole Miss changed that mark to something like 33-2 now.
They haven't lost that many games since '06, so that must include '05, as well. So of who's ability, or lack there of, is this more indicative? Tebow, Meyer, or Leak?
I'm feeling better about this game. Georgia is beatable, Bama is toast in Death Valley, could be another special season guys.
