Not having a QB is a big issue. Not having a coach is also tough. I've felt like we've had both of those problems under Miles, but what I like is that we play fundamental ball, we don't rely on novelties but aren't afraid to use them. Perhaps Muschamp is a more fundamental coach, but he is young. Don't know if he's the long term answer for Florida at this time.
I feel sorry for Shane being stuck behind enemy lines in sooner country. When the bcs comes out with lsu ranked ahead of the sooners there will be lots of butthurt rednecks mad as hell that the tigers passed them up. He may be cleaning egg off of his car and toilet paper out of his trees in the yard. Boy I would love to see what would happen if our resident platoon Sargent caught some 18 and 19 year old punks egging his car and rolling his house. It would look like a Rambo movie at the shane911 house.
That's how it looks when both OU and LSU win. He's not cleaning egg off his car today but he couldn't take his afternoon nap cause the sheets were being washed.
Many don't realize that the jump pass has been called by Stud before and it was when he was the OC under Meyer. Probably the reason Urban called it against us in the 1st place.
You felt wrong. Miles has always been a good coach. For the first couple years his biggest problem was that he wasn't Saban.
But it might take longer than that for them to rebound and become the dominant force they were in the '90's and 00's. I read an article from an Orlando reporter that TOTALLY ripped Urban for leaving the cupboard bare. Even talked about how RON ZOOK got NO credit for the talent Urban inherited and how it pales in comparison to what Urban has left for Muschamp. Further went on to talk about how Florida is more interested in "recruiting a good track team to play football" but how it lacks the physical nature to compete vs the conference's elite teams. (Gotta agree with that!). Urban had a pretty unique offense he brought to the SEC and had some speed burners to execute it and a QB-golden boy perfectly designed to run it.
