wow. lsu fans talking about someone being a drunk? :)
I always respected the Bear and I think most LSU fans did. We "hated" him because he never lost to us in Tiger Stadium.

I've been to Auburn, Bama, Ole Piss and Tennessee.
Bama gets my vote for hottest women and it's not even close.
Tennessee was the quietest 100K seat stadium. Their fans just sit on their hands. Ole Miss has the closest seats to stadium. Love it there. Almost like a high school stadium.

My dad was a high school football coach and idolized Bear Bryant--he went into mourning when the Bear died. So, I have a soft spot in my heart for Bear, even though Charlie Mac couldn't beat him.

That image of him leaning against the goalpost...it was necessary for him to do so. He was the type of guy that used lightposts for support, not illumination.

We just live in a disrespectful society. And it ain't coming back. People who saw the product he put on the field, knew he was better then most at what he did. Most coaches, that good are tough hombres. For everyone else trying to get in touch with the inner person, thank goodness Barbara Walters still does her specials.

If it makes you feel better, I was upset when he died, because he said he was gonna go fishing, and even drunks deserve to go fishing.

Of course he was a great coach, goober.

What could they have seen in the last two LSU games that wouldn't make them confident? If LSU plays like they did the last two games I predict a Florida stomping also. Hopefully it will be a different LSU team showing up Saturday at the swamp.

I didn't know you cared. Say, do you like Oprah? And how old were you in 1983, anyway?
