No I think Red was mistaken. In Desert Storm Saudi Arabia provided free chocolate milk and pudding for the entire coalition. Oil was shipped in.
No because when you plug in your new electric car, you get redirected to the energy factory that runs off happiness…. :rolleye33:
Up? That's not what I've been reading. Articles at the beginning of the week were saying it would start to drop, and could be down to $3.50 nationally by mid-summer.
I suspect that the refinery at Krotz Springs may have to shut down since it moves much of its product by barge, even if the ring levee holds.
Ok, let see, shutdown/reduce rates at most of the plants up and down the Mississippi River, what do you think this will do? We haven't built a new refinery in over 30 years, yes we have had Crude Creep, but look at whats going on. We can only make X-number of bbls. of mogas in the US, thats it. You have to understand, river traffic is fixing to be halted on the river, docks will shutdown(It will take weeks/months to resume operations). Ships will be out in the gulf w/o ok to resume. Only so much can go out/come in by truck, pipeline, rail, etc. Feed stocks and finished products come into play. Some of the pipeline stations will be under water. Some pipelines will have divers on standby. To add, its vacation time, peak season..... I know, I heard the report of the price coming down 15 to 25 cents/gal. Maybe they are right and I'm wrong?
