WTF are you talking about. I didn't say get rid of school jackie I said get rid of the DOE. Schools can run themselves just fine, you know, sort of like you "should" be able to run your life without some government lacky telling you how it should be run? DOE is a $$$ sinkhole, sort of like a boat but not nearly as fun.
I'm all for eliminating farm subsidies and oil company subsidies. But it doesn't cut Medicare, the biggest money pit. 1. Medicare is too generous for what we pay into it. We must either pay more or limit what medicare can cover. Right now they will buy a $15,000 power chair for anybody with the slightest walking problem. Fraudulent sellers and the doctors that they pay off scheme to provide them to patients that can't use them (like total invalids) or patients that don't need them (people recovering from surgery that could get by with a $400 manual wheelchair or a $100 walker. 2. It is far too easy to defraud medicare. This needs to be tightened up. Hospitals, doctors, and clinics get caught overcharging Medicare all the time. People should go to prison and this would stop.
See but there is the myth Red, if you listen to the conservatives, it's all the lazy fat black people who are on welfare who are getting free medical care that is running up the bill. There is no way a doctor could ever ever ever fraud the government. They are all just good people who provide a service. They should be allowed to just do whatever they want whenever they want, unless its prescribing pot, now that they should go to jail for. :rolleye33:
The education system in the united states used to be completly ran by the states. The federal goverment should not be directly involved in this. The states should handle this. But this will never happen. The teachers union will not allow the doe to die. The goverment has their hands in something that should be ran by the states.
