Rush didn't come up with Barack the Magic Negro. The term was used by a columnist for the LA Times and picked up by Paul Shanklin, who writes and records political parody songs. Limbaugh played the song on his show. The tension in Libya is not his fault. The fact that we are growing more energy independent on the Middle East by the day is his fault. The fact that nothing is being done to reduce this dependence is his fault.
If it wasn't for the envirmentalist base of the democratic party we could drill and produce most of what we need keeping our money and troops here at home. The enviros want high priced gas to force Americans to use less. What about us that drive forty miles to work everyday. Bikes are not an option.
We have been building up and not using the SOR decades before anyone ever became an environmentalist. I just wonder if the last time oil creeped towards $4/gal (while oil rigs in the gulf were running full steam) if anyone on this thread blamed a President?
Republicans have been trying for years to produce more domestic oil. It is blocked in congress, state houses and the courts by enviromentalist. They are directly the blame why we must import oil in the amount we do instead of using our own.
