Grizz are also sending Stro to the Nets. Might of been a nice pick up for NJ if Kidd wasn't disgruntled.

Gasol is an overall high quality big man.

Great pickup for the Lakers. May propel them much further in the playoffs this year.

Great for the Lake Sheaux. Gasol has declined a little but he was one of the more underrated guys for a while and is still an upgrade. The Lakers have one of the best benches in the league so they can work the rotation around him.

    The Grizzlies are Grade-A idiots...

Anytime you make a deal that Kwame Brown is the best player you're getting back, you better be giving up next to nothing.

Big guy that can score, can't rebound, can't play defense, and gets hurt all the time for a big guy that can't score, can't rebound, can't play defense and gets hurt all the time...The Lakers did all right with this trade of course since Kwame sucks, but not as well as many think.

the lakers would have come out great if they had received a bag of dirt in exchange. this is addition by subtraction. gasol was a great addition over the dirt though.

Just checked the details of the trade...Memphis also got Javaris Crittenton (don't need another PG) and the Lakers 1st round pick in 2008 and 2010.
