ESPN reported that Gary Gibbs interviewed with the Chargers yesterday for the head coaching position. They still say that its between Norv Turner and that D-coordinator from Baltimore. I say thank god, I hate the fact that we hire a guy that does wonders with mediocre talent and after the first year people are already talking to him. Maybe Sean Payton allowed him to go because he knew he wouldn't get it but I just hope we can hold it together for a few more years before we start losing coaches to creat the "Payton family tree of coaching".
His brother Barry would have been a better fit. He could definitely better explore how deep the love is for the Super Chargers.
