LSU has been getting plenty of love from the media this year, more than I have ever witnessed in my lifetime. However, we've got to realize that the media has and always will have a love jones for the Alabamas, Michigans, Notre Dames, of college football. If these teams are playing well and at the top the media will slobber all over themselves to promote these teams. In recent years it's been Bama. Getting upset about it won't change it.
He meant that the disparity in stats showing Alabama seemingly much stronger in the rush department means nothing. He is correct.
I think Red's point was that Alabama won't be doomed if they lose Richardson because they do in fact have depth. It's going to be a heavyweight bout. Deal with it. Admitting Alabama is a very good team doesn't make you any less of a fan.
