I suppose since I watch LSU football from afar, I am not as easily offended by what announcers say. I didn't see much response from the video of Danielson that was posted earlier in this thread. Did anyone view it? I thought it was a pretty cool thing for him to address this criticizm.
I hate them both. They are a joke. It is time for them to leave. It is not so much about upsetting LSU fans, although it certainly does take a lot for them to give LSU credit for anything. It is more about how much they love to choke on Bama's junk. In every game they announce, regardless of who plays, its Bama this, Bama that. Its a GD Bama love fest when they have the mic in their hand (pun intended).
They're just crappy commentators. Verne can't get names, teams, etc. right, and Gary spends entirely too much time opining rather than analyzing. Plus, Verne has a fupa, and the world should not reward such a lack of self-respect.
I don't know about that, but you can bank on those 2 A-holes making a big deal out of it at some point. Danielson will make some kind of backhanded wiesel comment about it while Fupa Lundquist gives his usual forced laugh (Ha..Haa).
And they shouldn't talk about us missing 3 of our best players? Or how foolish they were? Or how they might be impacting our season? Geez, with all of the the other guys out there we will be glad these 2 guys are the ones calling the game. Much worse will be said on all of the pregame shows.
I'm just not going to listen to the game this week. Think I will crank up the tunes, and just watch. Tired of hearing them butcher LSU players names anyway.
Agreed. This one might be worth trying to sync up with Hawthorne. Last week was pretty unbearable without all the drama.
Red's sync device got me thinking. There has to be a way to do this in software on a laptop rather than buy a $200 device. I spent a few minutes on the net and I found this. You run you radio audio into you laptop line in, use this software to control the delay, and then run the line out to your TV/AMP. Audio Sync Software AudioSyncer I might give the free trial a shot.
