We'll see how Fisher does at FSU. I don't predict greatness.

Why? He'd win in a landslide. However, if you're really willing to pay good money, I might try to set something up. You'll probably get ripped off, but who I am to judge how you spend you cash? You know what they say about a fool and his money...

I'm not real sure how any of that is relevant to this discussion, though. Perhaps you were on your way to the Jimbo Fisher vs. MLUTiger thread and got lost?

What about when Miles was here? Was he blind to Jimbo's genius too? I know that a big concern was that Miles interfered in the playcalling which led to unimaginative offenses despite an abundance of talent. When Jimbo left and Crowton arrived, the same concerns were expressed, but we never saw the offense handcuffed like when Jimbo was here.

Anyone care to explain the same lackluster schemes and playcalls at FSU since Jimbo left LSU? I'm glad the guy is doing well and I hope he enjoys a lot of success at FSU. I am thankful for his time here at LSU because he had a big hand in the development of Rohan, Russel, Flynn, Mauck, etc. and they all represented LSU well. That doesn't mean that I'm beyond objectivity though.

Be happy to. When you have an idiot for a QB, 1-AA O-line, and are in your first year, stuff like that happens.

I think that Fisher did a good job at LSU, and we have the Championships to prove it. As far as how he is doing at Florida St. it is too early to judge how good or bad of a job he will do there. It isn't like he inherited an offense with top players, that had been taught systems that are very effective. Crowton, on the other hand took over a system that many of the pieces of the puzzle were already in place, and the players that he inherited are top shelf. With what LSU wants to do now and the direction of many of college football programs, I think that Crowton is the perfect fit for LSU. I think that his schemes are more what is needed to be able to compete at the level we want. A little razzle dazzle, a good dose of smash mouth, and add a defense that can stop any team on any day.

Well, then, I'll explain it to you without using any big words. You seem to believe that you are qualified to comment on Jimbo Fisher's abilities as an Offensive Coordinator. The only way that your opinion carries any weight is if you show that have some idea of what it takes to coach at a Division I power. Since you admit that Jimbo would kill you in a debate on the subject, I'll assume that you are simply a blowhard.
