Stephen Garcia dismissed from Gamecocks - CBSSports.com Florida could end up in the SECCCG after all.
5th, 6th, 7th time is a charm, right? This guy has been bouncing in and out of suspensions his entire time!
Damn! And we though RP was given chance after chance?? Had Garcia been at LSU from the beginning, he wouldn't have seen the start of his Soph. season!
I'm surprised that The 'Ole Ball Coach gave this kid so many chances. He must be getting soft in his older age...
Granted they played Kentucky, but his replacement put up impressive numbers last week. Perhaps they will be better off.
Well he has played pretty horid so far, how bad can this really hurt the team. They still have Lattimore and Jeffery.
spurrier has always had an issue with his qbs. this went back to his days at florida even when they were winning. he has to be in the spotlight regarding that position. because he is a heisman winning qb after all. I think garcia was sane when he arrived. and that other qb looked crappy until last week. I suppose he had a good week since they rolled UK but it was UK.
I'm shocked, shocked that Garcia failed a substance test. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5E3CSizTNQ]Casablanca - YouTube[/ame]
Yeah. I thought he looked pretty poised. They don't NEED him to play lights-out. So Carolina has a pretty solid defense (and have for a few years) and with perhaps the best all-around RB in the conference, IMO (maybe even the country) in Lattimore and one of the best WR's in Jefferey, they just need a QB to play like Lee and manage the game and make the occassional big throw when called upon. If Darth Visor wants to throw it up with this kid and wing it alike he used to at Florida, their promising QB will get battered.
