I was an Aranda fan too and still am but didn't know like everyone else that Kelly was in the mix. Yes Aranda has turned Baylor around in 2 years but Kelly has turned around every team he has coached and has a much longer resume' than Aranda as a HC. Kelly has won and turned around 4 different programs. I like our DC hire a lot, like he kept Davis and added Wilson. Like the strenght and conditioning coach hire. The others sound impressive but unknown. Unlike lsu-i-like I especially like the La Tech hire. He's young. Started coaching in 2013 was promoted to recruiting coordinator in 2014 and assistant HC in 2015. All this in only 3 years. 2019 was named co- offensive coordinator then to OC. Then became La Techs interim HC. Lastly as recruiting coordinator he helped bring in the # 1 Conference USA class in 2020. Has tremendous ties to North Louisiana high schools. He accomplished all this and is only 35 years old. I don't see any flies on this guy.
