Lane really makes you defend every inch of the field. He'll be okay losing yards by throwing it to the boundary or handing it to his guys running sideline to sideline because it forces the defense to defend not just the field vertically but also horizontally. With tempo that makes it impossible to defend well for 60 minutes. Stress. Stress the defense and make them make choices. They're gonna make mistakes. It's more of a college offense than Brady had here which was far more a pro offense, but the ideas are very much the same.
How can that be grounding.. he had a receiver there and was being thrown around.. I agree with Peyton Manning who said on his MNF broadcast recently that how does the ref know if being hit impacted the throw or if the receiver runs the wrong route etc.
