speaking of jimbo, I came across this gem in an article in the athletic: “South Carolina entered the poll for the first time since September 2018 after its win against Texas A&M, which is 3-4 and all but assured of finishing unranked. That would mark the second year in a row that a preseason No. 6 Aggies team ended the year outside the rankings. It would mark the third time in six years that a Jimbo Fisher-coached team went from the preseason top six to unranked, as his last Florida State squad did so in 2017”
