We kicked our own asses. I said it after furd....this season is done and I'm not sure anything is going to change in the foreseeable future. Clay is a really nice guy who's running a clean program....but not prepared to be a head coach at this level. He has no idea how to fix it. His staff is worse. Meanwhile, the kid who really should still be slinging in high school had 48 pass attempts. Could we be any more 1-dimensional. We line up at the 3 and all of a sudden change from shotgun to under center. Was there anyone on the field who DIDN'T know what was coming? Our former President made a concerted effort to minimize football. He stripped it of money, support, and never once pressured the conference commissioner to leverage what we had in TV ratings. And now we have another really nice guy, Lynn Swann, as our AD who couldn't administrate his way out of a paper bad. I hear he's looking to go after Hue Jackson. Geebus. We are well and truly fucked.
Mizzou has given the game away. Georgia is a really good football team, but has not had to try all that hard to be up multiple scores right now.
