If I was the coach, I'd give Ridley this week off to rest his legs. We're gonna need him on the plains. Besides, we should have plenty of RB's who need some reps. :geaux:
What might be most important down the stretch is to get Chris Faulk and some of the other big ugly backups some serious PT. Not a lot of experience in the two deep on the line. And also not a lot of opportunity for them to get snaps before Oregon...
I had a thought about a blog post along these lines earlier this week. LSU plays Oregon - back to back! Giggity! Just don't want to spook the gris-gris.....shhhhh...... opcorn:
For the 2010 Crystal Football. Then again in Dallas, 2011, to kick off the season. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
I agree with wanting the guys to get some rest and avoid injuries, but we don't want to hold them out too much. They are just now hitting their strides, and we want them fresh (but not tired) when we journey to the Plains.
That crossed my mind too. I can see the duck calls hanging around some coonasses necks now...quack quack  True. We don't want them to get cold-back.
