It displaces the people that tailgate right there and then pushes them to other peoples tailgate. NOT TO MENTION all the FAIR WEATHER fans that come out and tailgate ONLY because Gameday is here. The ramp of the Pmac was the best spot because you had the stadium as the back drop and no one tailgates on the ramp so it didnt hurt anyone. Just another example of how TAF screws up the working mans ability to enjoy his time on campus! NOW back to Vandy! I went there is 05 and I gotta say I have NO IDEA where they are gonna setup because there is not much room anywhere on the campus. Not to mention those fans up there have NO IDEA what it means to tailgate we walked around campus all day and only found a handful of people doing anything! Most of it was at the frat houses and all they were doing was sitting on couches in their front yards! I do not understand ESPNs thinking here.....for that matter I dont understand ESPNs thinking at all on any occasion.
Doesn't Dudley field hold like 40K fans? That's less the half the size of Tiger stadium. No wonder there is no tailgaiting. I wonder if the Vandy prof's will let the students off for Game day.
