I expect Rod Sterling to come around the corner any minute now and tell me I'm in some alternate reality. http://awfulannouncing.blogspot.com/2008/09/gameday-staying-in-sec-country-will.html Think about this for a minute. If vandy wins this game, even if they win by one point, this throws everything we know about the east out of whack. Just looking at their schedule, the only 2 games I don't think they can't win are UGA and Florida. Even with 2 losses in their division, Vandy could still make it to atlanta because either uga or uf will have 2 sec losses and both of those teams still have to face us.
wow, now i really don't want bama to win the west. can you imagine the ammo the gumps would have if they won the SEC this year??? LSU needs to take care of business this year and not just on nov 8th.
Well why not, ya' know? Vandy is 4-0 First place in SEC East 2 wins away from Bowl eligibility 3 wins away form virtually clinching a bowl game Gameday has never been to Nashville And there is a LOT of colorful backdrop that comes into play with both the team and the city Vandy may well lose, but for pregame it may be one of the best places to be in the country this week and is almost definitely the best place to be this weekend. How do blue blazer yuppies with MBA's vacation homes "party" and tailgate at a college game, anyway?
For vandy's sake i hope not. Don't believe what you see on tv, all gameday is good for is ruining tailgates. I just hope that when it comes to uga and bama they aren't comin' to our citay.
Granted I've never been displaced by Gameday, but it seems that it's a very small portion of campus where tailgating is "ruined." The last few times I've seen them in Baton Rouge, they've only used the north half of the parade grounds, the other 98% of campus seemed to be unaffected. Am I missing something?
Okay, so I can understand the personal resentment. However, I think it's better overall for LSU to have gameday on campus than to not.
I just wish they'd go back to the p-mac. but now that taf does all that stuff over there, that's never gona happen.
