    Why 6:08? Why not 6pm? Seems rather arbitrary to me.

    I know what you are saying, but every other game's been listed as 1pm or 6pm even if first pitch wasn't until 6:05-6:10. Wonder what's different with this one.

    It really just depends on who you hear it from. On the LSU radio network they always tell you the weird 7:05 or 6:08 time. But TV and other media sources will usually just round off to the hour.

    I think they wanted all of the Tiger fans to get at least two cocktails in em before the restart. At least that is how I am taking it! :)

    Leadoff guy dinked a seeing eye single and the next guy struck out. The double was well hit on a 3-2 pitch. He obviously had some control issues but he had his stuff.

    Perhaps I should put some blame on the NCAA committee for not pushing for the game to be at 1. I'm just assuming ESPN wanted it at night.

    sf informed me the coaches were given the choice.

    i blame it on espn and recruiting anyhow. :lol:
