The defense is getting there. Seven games in (Ark, UGA, A&M, and Ole Miss in conference) and they are leading the conference in many of the categories. http://assets.espn.go.com/sec/football/2015/confldrs.htm
Agree and most of the passing yards given up have been on big play breakdowns. That is still correctable. Especially with the return of J Mills.
All remaining games are winnable and Fournette is a beast's beast. I expect a strong offensive performance, an improved STs performance, and a good enough defense this weekend. Against Bama I think Miles flips the script and gets a lot of attention; I think we're setting up for another multi-year run. Piss, saggy, and arky will probably be tough outs unless our pass D improves.
This year's team can beat Bama. We've had them on the ropes twice recently and couldn't close them out. So of course I'm always worried. But that's what makes it a premier match-up. Both are very talented teams. This year's Oline is stout enough. Our backs are stout enough and our QB is improving each week. Once again LSU vs Bama is a play-off game. The winner will win the West (most likely) and get a shot at the SECCG.
But if there is one team in the SEC with the studs to whip them, its LSU. We have the best Oline in the country... Hands down..... It's not even up for debate. I dont think LF runs wild, but I do think he runs for 150. Grinding it out. In doing that I think Harris will play as good and if not better than he did vs UF giving us the win. Their O is not that good at all and if you get in the backfield before Henry gets up to speed, its GG for him.
It was until they played the game and then it wasn't. We have 85 more seasons of football left on the 21st century so there will be a "game of the century" every 3 or 4 years
