Is it bad that we still have WKU, a bye week, and 16 days until we face Bama and that is all I can think about. After watching Ole Miss get decimated by injuries and the Faggies Run Defense get shredded by that Derrick "wannabe 4Net" Henry guy. I truly believe that if we get by Bama it will propel us into the SEC Championship game and hopefully the playoffs. I feel weird about this Bama game I feel like the secondary woes could be easily fixed but I'm not sure if they will be in the next 2 weeks. (I'm glad we are playing WKU because they will SERIOUSLY test our secondary). Im confident we can contain Henry and get pressure on Coker and force him to beat our secondary and thats what scares me. I think Bama's defense has gotten real lucky the past couple weeks with the turnovers and they still have weaknesses that can be exploited. Their special teams almost sucks as bad as ours... almost. I honestly didn't expect us to be 6-0 at this point of the season prior to this season and the more I watch the more I expect us to fuck up somewhere...... but what if we don't. What if we actually beat Bama this year. I don't think I've ever been so unsure of an LSU team than this year. What are yalls early thoughts on this game and if you honestly expected us to be in playoff contention at the end of october. Geaux tigers
Do you find this Bama defense to be close to some of your more dominant ones? I know that LSU fans wouldn't say that about our defense, but your defense has not struck me as one of your better ones.
They're good but it helps when the QB throws 4 passes right to 'em. Credit to 'em though 4 being in the right place and catching the ball.
Go look at the clips and you'll see a lot of DL pressure leading to those bad throws. Six sacks on the day tells much of the story. Since Ole Miss the avg QBR is paultry...I'll find the stat when I can get to my laptop
Haven't watched much, how's that Special teams play? Any truth to them sucking as much? Want to trade for BDP? Enquiring minds want to know.
I expect the game to be close and physical. Question is will LSU have the stomach in the 4th quarter to pull out the win. They blew it 2 of the past three years at the end. If LSU is ahead in the 4th, don't expect to see one single pass attempt.
