I agree, but South Carolina does not want to refund $2 million in tickets. I suspect they will find a stadium closer if they can.
The grass will be fine, just as LSU's tiger stadium grass was fine after Katrina. But the logistics may be the issue with them as it was with us. Roads and bridges are out and police resources are stretched with perhaps no people available for game day traffic and security.
Man this is hell waiting. I have tickets to SC game this weekend and the only time I have tickets on front row on 35 yd line behind LSU, they get a 1000 yr flood. The word up here s if they move it it would be to Bank of America in Charlotte, which would be closer for me. But. Want them to give me my front row tickets like I had................if anyone hears for sure down home way, please post
i didnt realize their state was in such bad shape weather wise til a couple days ago. thats some real life shit going on there. they're estimating billions in damages. we can relate to what they're going through more than most I reckon. kinda puts the game in perspective.
What's strange is the Katrina year no games were cancelled, although 2 were moved. We already had one cancelled this year and one potentially moved.
Well that's understandable from a non-resident. For a tenured professor at the Uni there, though, you'd think they'd know.
