Anyone know what the field surface is??? Sure would be bad if they play there and there is serious injury due to extremely soggy field if it is grass.
Georgia Southern is playing at 2:30 Saturday in the Georgia Some and whilee there is no game in Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte there is a NASCAR race very nearby

Although Williams-Brice Stadium remains dry and its infrastructure stable, according to multiple reports, the school’s concern over thousands of fans traveling to Columbia under potentially dangerous conditions, as well as the “pressures” they would put on the state and its resources, has Tanner and his administration considering a rescheduling or relocation of the game. “There’s certainly lots of concerns with our families and people who live here in the Midlands,” Tanner said. “And certainly the logistics with the highways, the stadium water situation and other pressures with first responders and highway patrolmen and all the police we use from various counties.” Earlier on Tuesday, SEC Nation announced its decision to broadcast from Knoxville, Tenn., this weekend instead of Columbia.
