I can go along with that. The good news is, that unknown to us is also an unknown to the opponents.. And they know that even if they stack the box, it might not matter with the O-line and running game we have this year (and likely next). If I'm Miles and Cameron, instead of the defense daring me to throw I'm daring them to stack the box. We have the advantage in my book at this point.

    YES.

I was talking with a guy in our office that is a big FSU fan this morning. He has a pretty solid football IQ and follows the sport pretty closely. He said today he doesn't care how may guys opposing teams put in the box, you're not stopping LSU's offensive line and Leonard Fournette. He thinks because of that LSU should win it all this year. He is always talking about winning the line of scrimmage.

It feels good to hear that from opposing fan bases, because deep down I feel the same way, but coming from me its not valid, I am a homer.

But, I know that at some point this year (Ole Miss/Bama/UF/A&M) someone will stuff us. I still think they will have to sell out to do it, and that's when I want to see Harris make them pay. With Dupre and Dural, and teams selling out, its should be backyard football until they respect it and get their defenders out of the box.

The Mad Hatter has a dangerous concoction on his hands this year

The Auburn game was straight up a blast to watch, just an all around great game to watch. I blasted Miles in the first game, and he deserved it. They looked like a team on a mission, now we invade New York.

Best to bring your own. I don't know about Syracuse but beer prices in New York City are insane.

There's the million dollar question. Can Harris win a game with his arm if the run is stifled. So far in Miles tenure, JR, Flynn, and Mett have been the only guys capable of doing this. Well I take that back, Jarrett Lee did it against Louisiana Tech, but we shouldn't have been in that spot anyway.

I was really critical of Harris, but I like what I see so far. He damn sure has the arm strength, he has proven himself to be a leader, he has been making smart decisions with the football, hasn't turned it over, and if Cameron can coach him up, he should be pretty good. We need a guy who, like you said, IF there comes a time where LSU has to throw the ball with no choice, can he be that guy? With this offensive line and running game, it probably won't happen a lot, but it will happen at some point.

Harris is a very smart kid. Sounds very intelligent when he speaks.

I think the coaches are handling him right this year. I was a bit off in my criticisms on MSU, but I believe their game plan was to have this team 2-0/3-0 and then start to work him in more.

He doesn't need to throw much. Maybe 20-25 times, but he does need to be able to hit the crucial 3rd downs. Just like Mett did in 2013. I think that is where Cam is trying to get him.

We have a nasty run game that people will only hope to slow. Not stop.

In review, we run power I, read option, option, pro style, and QB draw...

Like, no one on the planet can be prepared for all of that.

Harris' decision making and evasiveness really is the key here. If Jefferson or Jennings were half the runner Harris is, who knows. His ability to recognize he can tuck it and run without having to throw it and still pick up big chunks of yards is deadly, and I think is what Miles has wanted all along in his qb just never had it.

His ability to scramble will decide at least 1 game this year.

    Can't believe I'm saying this...
