First off profs to Alabama they play a great game and whipped us. Credit Bamas OC for a great game plan and MacCarron for executing it to perfection. His passes were on target and many were put only where the Bama receivers could catch.

This was CLM & staff & teams worst effort accross the board. We weren't prepared and the O was never in the game. The D played well and it seems the plan was to make Bama beat us in the air. Again MacCarron & the receivers stepped up. While they weren't ready for it the D responded well and if the O had done anything the D's effort would have been enough. Now for the Grades:

    Offense F--------

Coaches F---- Game plan was not imaginative and we had no response to what Bama did. play calling was worse than any appearance of a plan.

JJ D Hard to grade as he had nothing to work with. He failed in his duty to provide the leadership to rally the team. I know he was bad but look at his passes; he was accuarate but not effective. Option was weak. He was lost but again with

O-Line F---- They were dominated by Bamas D line and false starts, missed assignment inefective run blocking. Poor play prevented any chance of production and while many may put most blame on JJ I think it started with the O line & game plan

Backs ????? Who knows they never had a chance to run. Ware missed an early 3rd down pass but he should have caught. Hard to perform when you have no holes.

Receivers C Again with JJ, OL & coach failures they didn't have much of a chance.

Defense B They were set up to stop the run and Bama passed us to death. Again credit Bama here MacCarron was the MVP and performed superbly and the receivers did well. I think we adjusted well enough and again did a great job of holding Bama without a TD untill the end. With any support from the O it would have been enough to win.

Coaching B again Chielf coached them enough to win. Adjusted to the pass game

Line B+ they did a good job of stopping the run and gave us a chance

LBs C+ to B They tackled well generally were in position.

DBs B again they were in position and can't defend perfect passes.

Dissapointing as hell to end this way but it was a great year and lets hope next year ends better. :geaux:

Jefferson gets an F IMO. Botched snaps, overthrown passes, and the part that makes me really mad, is him getting pissed at Ware when he threw the pick. I can't tell you how much of a relief it is that I will never have to see that stupid whine face of Jefferson's again. He is an option qb that couldn't run the option. The gameplan could have worked with the right personnel. I can honestly say I have never seen a quarterback progressively get worse throughout his career. If I'm gonna blame anything on miles, it's the fact that JJ was never in fear for his job. He was given more rope to hang himself with than any football player I have ever seen.

Thank god that tonight was the last night I ever have to see him in an LSU uniform. Move over Jaime Howard, there's a new sherriff in town.

I agree. I really wanted to believe in Jordan Jefferson...that he was a leader and such but he proved otherwise again. I couldn't believe he had the nerve to glare at Ware like he messed up. It was 100% on JJ and his indecisiveness.

Our WRs did very good today actually. They pretty much caught everything thrown to them. Yards after catch were limited by great defense but mainly predictable passes. JJ seems to think the harder you throw the ball, the better chance you have at catching it...totally not the case.

I just have a feeling that in 10 years we are going to find out that Les cheated on his wife 20 something years ago with a woman from St. Rose LA. Only a coaches son gets that much of a leash.
