    chopped pork BBQ here, y'all are making me hungry and my wife homesick. FYI we live in Florida and ran across some noise talking Convict fans today. We really need to win!

    I went totally lazy and ordered pizza. I was entertaining 3 senior girls, and it was easy. Now, they are at the movies, and my 8th grader is at a friend's house. It's nice and quiet here now.

    Never tried specks in gumbo. Wouldn't they fall apart?

    Anything you put in a gumbo will, if you cook it long enough.

    Personally, I won't keep a mallard.We've tried all kinds of shit including marinade of water and vinegar. curdled the skin but didn't take that that strong taste. A lot of people like to make duck bombs with breasts and cook them on pit. I've never tried ried them- cause I no longer keep mallards.
