this was a brilliant analysis until your prediction.

if you would told me going in, that ross would be yanked early and we'd go thru byrd, cain and bradshaw and only give up 5 runs, i woulda thought W.

tigers need to make friends with their bats again, i think the pitching matchup (starters anyway) favors us tonight but we'll need to wake up the bats to win it.

if you think about it, texas outplayed us for most of the 20 innings so far so we're lucky to be in game 3 tonight (no one wants to hear that but it's true). let's hope we got all the bad stuff out of our system and put it all together tonight! :tigereye:

problem I've noticed when Ross starts:

Seems like when Ross has his A game and is keeping the other team down, we don't hit very well.

When he's struggling, and giving up runs, we hit the cover off of it and try to win in a shootout.

Obviously, this isn't always the case, but it seems to happen this way quite often.

Last night was worst case. He wasn't on, AND we weren't hitting.

Hitters need to relax a bit tonight and just play baseball. Last night, they all looked to be trying to do too much.
Ranaudo needs to pitch a really good game, but that may not matter if the lineup doesn't figure out Texas' staff.
