OK, I wasn't counting myself; just going on what ESPN was saying. He must have thrown more pitches than I thought in the sixth.

    Exactly.

Some people here act like every player who wears and purple and gold jersey is an all-star every single night. Dude has the stuff to be a good pitcher and can bring it on any given day, but let's be realisitic, his ERA is 5+, he isn't getting the job done every game and it's not the offenses fault if they don't score 10 runs to counterbalance his medicore pitching efforts.

That being said, I hope Ross throws a CG shutout tonight.

Coleman is almost certainly out for tonight. Tomorrow would be his side-session day normally, so he could definitely come in and throw an inning or two tomorrow if neccessary.

Ross has looked good his last 2 or 3 times out, especially in the Regional when we really needed him.

Do we finally get to be the home team tonight?

I sure as hell hope so. And probably another coin toss if a game 3 is needed.

I hope he is lights out tonight. I'm just saying if he gives up 6 runs and we lose 6-5, it's not the offense's fault.

Yeah we will be home tonight and if game 3 is needed Texas will be home. They announced at the pre-championship presser. Hopefully, we won't need game 3 I have a good feeling about tonight. :LSU231::tigbas:

He is either all or nothing.

I don't see them letting him go more than 4-5, even if he is pitching great.

He is just a short bridge to the bullpen tonight.

That's where my thinking lies as well.

He needs to treat this as if he just came into the 4th inning and the game is all tied up and he just needs to go for the gusto until he can't go anymore.
