I am assuming y'all are betting online? I would like to do some paper betting for a few weeks to get a feel for it, however I would like to know which sites y'all like or which sites I should stay away from.. Thanks
I use a local book here in OKC, I'm not a big fan of the offshore sites. #1 It is a PITA to get $$ credited to your account because of the laws passed a few years ago, 2nd, you have to do a little research to find out how "credible" they are. Almost all of them will offer you some sort of sign up bonus however when it is time for them to pay up there is always some sort of "fee" and never a guarantee that you will ever see your money. When you look at it rationally, who are you going to complain to if they don't pay you? Find a local pool hall, hang out there for a few days, then ask around for someone to take your action. Much easier, less hassle and if you get into a jam they are much more resonable about working out some sort of a "deal" with you. They don't break knee caps anymore.
It's SO easy UNTIL I put money down. Never fails. Isn't it amazing how often the scores hover around that spread? You in the mob aintcha.
I wish I were. It would be so much easier. Example, the USCe v Vandy game. Public was all over the cocks and the sharp money comes in late on Vandy. Still scratching my head because how in the hell can vandy even stay in the game against a healthy Lattimore and that Clowney guy on defense. Hmm, goes to show you, Vandy covers and the wise guys get paid. Luckily I stayed away from that one otherwise I would have surely lost more money.
As soon as I saw the card it was Missouri +4, that number has quickly gone down and it is pissing me off because that was a great chance to catch vegas in the middle. Something that doesn't happen very often. Last I looked it was Mizzou +3 and I'm sure it is still dropping. I do like E. Car and Miss St, have to check it out more to be sure. Nevada should be a nice play as well. Let you know closer to game time. It doesn't take as much $$ as you think to move a line this early in the week. The heavy hitters will come in late Friday all the way to kickoff so I'm hoping they drive that Mizzou line back up.
