We've taken 6-7 CBs (depening on whether you classify Derrick Bryant as a CB or Safety) in the last 2 classes. I don't see how we justify taking 3 more in this class PLUS Calhoun. Granted, their talents may be tough to turn down, but I just don't see it. Anyway, I don't expect us to end up in that position.
Lynn says the depth at LSU in the DB department could hurt their chances of landing him. Looks like OU more and more.
Bet Sooner Nation is happy to get the #1 recruit from Oklahoma. I saw a special on the high school he went to, Jenks High (located in Tulsa, Oklahoma). It's one of the most well-known high school football programs in America. They have won 12 State Championships since 1979, including six consecutive State Championships from 1996-2001. They won the state title in '79, '82, '93, '96, '97, '98, '99, '00, '01, '03, '06 and '07 (they lost in the championship game this year). Check out their facilities: This 3-story building is for their football team: This is a picture of the 3rd-story team meeting/banquet room: These are pictures of the 2nd story, where they have class rooms, a fitness center, and their sports medicine operations: On the 1st floor, they have their weight room and locker room: You can see more pictures here: http://jenkstrojanfootball.com/end_zone_plans.html Their school colors are similar to that of the Univ. of Oklahoma: And their football program has been around forever: Jenks High School, football team, 1926-1927 (LINK) EDIT: the coach in the picture--his sweater--is that an "O" for Oklahoma, or a "C" for Coach, or what?
I bet a lot of college 1-AA schools would love to have a facility like that. Probably a lot of 1-A's too, for that matter.
Thats a very impressive school must have alot of big donations to that school and probably recruit too
