    I believe in my original post I said I'd like to see "three patsies and one mid-level school". The schedule you list above seems to echo that sentiment.

    And that's only as long as the SEC is tops. When it starts to dip and only yeilds two or three ranked teams (if that ever happens), then I would be entirely for scheduling some meat.

    It helps because it is a home game every year, not a home and home series.

    Attendance aside, the tickets were still sold.

    The tickets are always sold. You contend that attendance means nothing to our school. Somehow officials don't care when there are 20K+ empty seats? That's a joke.

    Getting weaker by the moment. TV pays quite a bit for big time OOC games and residual revenue caused by additional national exposure cannot be accurately measured. Need I point out that LSU is now in the Top 5 nation wide for merchandising? You think that came about from playing Troy and North TX?

    That argument just holds less water every year.
