He was the responsible one, the leader that took charge of the lie and did harm with it. redd55 and Obama and a whole lot of others, including our own damn inspectors that has spent 10 years destroying the WMDs. They told us we would not find any and we didn't. It happens when a President licks the can down the road. We said that wasn't going to happen again after Vietnam. Bush I didn't let it happen, the Gulf War was mostly paid for by allies who didn't put up many troops. We didn't let it happen in World War II which was paid for by higher taxes, sales of war bonds, militarizing industry, and civilian rationing. It's always bad idea to go to war without a plan to pay for it, preferably one that makes everybody share a bit in the sacrifice. The country would have been less eager to take down Saddam if they were told that taxes would go up, the draft would be implemented, and gasoline would be rationed. End of the day, it was wasted money and sacrificed lives that would have been better used in the war on terror. Saddam was no threat to his neighbors anymore much less to the United states of America. I might have been glad if we changed anything by it. Instead all we have is a resentful and ungrateful Iraq that is rapidly going to islamic tribal politics which is worse than the secular Saddam's dictatorship. We also removed the main obstacle to Iranian ambitions. It was a clusterfuck from start to finish. Obama has not come close to failure of this magnitude.
By what measure is he improving the economy? No real GDP growth in 4 years, chronic high unemployment, lowest labor force participation rate since the depression, a growing poverty rate, shrinking salaries, shrinking personal disposable income, 25% increase on people on foodstamps, lower personal savings rate, trippled federal deficit. AND on top of all that his administration is know saying the sequestration cuts he signed are going to have devastating effects on the economy. Tell me, why would the President sign something that would have devastating effects on the economy?

Bush crashed the economy! It has been steadily recovering ever since Obama took office. That is what the gridlocked Congress gave him. It is the republicans that insist on spending cuts, then complain about devastating effects when the cuts actually happen. Hypocrites.
I think you are seeing the news wrong. It is the Democrats who are complaining loudly about the cuts. They want to undo the cuts and pass tax increases to offset. So again why did Obama sign a crappy bill? He has gone on and on, since the 11th hour about how bad and sever 85 billion dollars in curs to 3.08 trillion dollar budget would be. Why did he sign the cuts if they were so bad? He signed off on these cuts, they are his.
