So you have Greedy on one corner and Fulton on the other with delpit and Stevens over the top. Along with probably the two best line backers in the country in Chiasson and white. Not even to mention the depth at D line.. Could this be our best defensive unit since 2011?

Word is he's passed 40 drug tests since the first "fake" sample.

I was thinking the same thing but didn’t want to get ahead of myself. That 2011 defense was sick. This year should be one of the best we’ve seen. Damn sure looks good on paper.

From the Duke debacle, I thought that Joe Alleva was the last person LSU should have hired and have never seen anything really positive which Alleva has brought to LSU athletics, but it looks like he was instrumental in the recent NCAA decision reinstating Fulton.

Let's give the devil his due...
    https://www.si.com/college-football/2018/08/23/kristian-fulton-ncaa-reinstatement-lsu

"LSU athletic director Joe Alleva sent a four-page letter to the NCAA on Friday outlining reasons for reinstating Fulton, citing that the NCAA charged the cornerback with tampering (a two-year penalty), and he should have been charged with "urine substitution" (a one-year penalty). The interpretation committee agreed, per Dellenger.

"It’s a good day. I’m so happy for the kid," Alleva told Dellenger. "He’s a really good kid. He made a mistake. I’m glad we were able to get the appeal through.""

White....all day long the best in the country IMO. Chiasson is damn good but not sure he'd crack the top 10. Still, maybe the best overall unit in the country.

All we are missing to be as great as the 2011 D is a Honey Badger type playmaker and White just be that guy.
